HS & MS Clinic
overview
Our winter clinic will run for 5 weeks and aims to prepare players for the spring lacrosse season. Each week will consist of one 90-minute session for attackers and a separate 90-minute session for defenders. Midfielders, or those interested, can sign up for both sessions. Each session will begin with 30-40 minutes of stick work, challenging each player to become comfortable with both hands. Most sessions will also include some small-sided drills working on a fast-paced play. Attackers should leave our clinic feeling knowledgeable about shooting techniques, feeding, off-ball movement, and the ride while our defenders will be knowledgeable on 1v1 defense, double teams, team defense/slide packages, defensive communication and clears. With all of our lacrosse offerings, we focus on making our players fundamentally sound with a high lacrosse IQ.
This clinic will be limited to the first 30 girls to sign up for the attack session and the first 30 girls to sign up for the defense session.
Goalies are not included in the above count and will be split between the two sessions on a weekly basis! Goalies will receive individual instruction at each session before jumping into drills. We anticipate goalies seeing over 100 shots each session!
