Her dad (Rutgers University) and mom (Colby-Sayer College), both played college lacrosse and introduced her to the game at a young age. For high school club, Erica played for the CT Grizzlies and was selected to play for New-England and CONNY for all-star games. Erica started coaching and reffing local teams her sophomore year of high school. Erica continued her lacrosse career playing Division I at UC Davis, where she was a defender.
In Davis, CA, in addition to playing lacrosse, Erica continued her love for coaching and coached the U-10 and U-12 local teams in addition to being an elite middle school coach for Tenacity Lacrosse. During her last year of college, Erica took on a new role as Head Coach of the UC Davis Women’s Club Lacrosse team and led the team to their first winning record in history.
After graduating from UC Davis, Erica accepted an offer to pursue a PhD in Biomedical Engineering at WashU in St. Louis. Erica has been in St. Louis for over 3 years now and has coached countless youth and high school club teams around the area. Currently, Erica is a PhD Candidate and is also the Co-President of The BALSA Group, a non-profit consulting organization. She is excited to continue coaching in the area by joining the 410 West Lacrosse Club this summer!
